Founding of RGUKT:- The idea to create iiits in Andhrapradesh came in april 2007,at the request Dr.Rajesher reddy  chief minister of Andhrapradesh at that time.He was fully dissatisfied with the opportunities available for the rural people and he decided to setup a three IIITS  in the three regions of Andhra pradesh which would give better opportunities for rural students In march pf 2008, the Ap government created RGUKT by an act of the legislature as a full fledged university which would initially admit roughly the top 1% of the rural students into the three residential compuses RGUKT Educational Objectives The primary objective of establishing RGUKT was to provide high quality educational fot the rural youth of Andhra pradesh.The initial goal was that at least the top 1% of the rural youth should got the opportunity to study at RGUKT . MY EXPERIENCE AND CLIMATE OF RGUKT RK VALLEY I got the admission in the IDUPULAPAYA compus.i was listen about the place idupulapaya which is very famous due to the former chief minister Dr.Rajashekar reddy tomb is there so i exited to go there and compus also very big . RGUKT is a place where you can find the toppers of the state not only in academics but also in various fields ranging from academics to sports and extra-curricular activities. The climate of the collage is very nice.3 sides have been surrounded by the mountains so much of greenery RGUKT RK VALLEY: - 1.Since this is a 6 year integrated b-tech programme you have PUC(pre-university course ) for 2 years and BTECH(4 years) and the method of studying is “learning by doing”.This means that you have to learn by yourself and the teachers will aid in clarifying your doubts and in increasing the subject you have learnt 2. .you may be a topper till your schooling but once after you enter RGUKT if u don’t pay proper ...

Infrastructure and Facilities:- Departmental Buildings and Laboratories The Institute is in the process of commissioning seven Departmental Buildings dedicated to each branch of Engineering,The Institute is currently functioning with two Academic Blocks in Engineering campus and Pre-fabricated classrooms for PUC campus. Laptop for Every Student:- Each student is provided with a laptop and its accessories (pen-drive, laptop bag and a laptop charger) for the entire course period of six years. The Academic Blocks/Department Buildings in the campus are well connected by high speed LAN for internet access.
