INFRASTRUCTURE AND PLACEMENTS IN RGUKT RKVALLEY
Infrastructure and Facilities:-
Departmental Buildings and Laboratories
The Institute is in the process of commissioning seven Departmental Buildings dedicated to each branch of Engineering,The Institute is currently functioning with two Academic Blocks in Engineering campus and Pre-fabricated classrooms for PUC campus.
Laptop for Every Student:-
Each student is provided with a laptop and its accessories (pen-drive, laptop bag and a laptop charger) for the entire course period of six years. The Academic Blocks/Department Buildings in the campus are well connected by high speed LAN for internet access. Class rooms are fully based having Projectors, Screen, and Speakers etc. in addition to regular mode of white board teaching. Students can have access modules of each course and corresponding pre-recorded video lectures delivered by the experts in the area of specialization across the country.
Hostel and Mess Facility:-
The Institute provides free hostel accommodation to all the students along with providing cots, beds, bed-spreads, uniforms and shoes. In all there are 6 boys’ hostels and 4 girls’ hostels. Every room is provided with a fan, tube lights and connected with common bath rooms at either ends of hostel’s corridor
The housekeeping staff cleans and maintains on a regular basis.
Medical and Health Care facilities
There is a 30 bedded hospital with 3 Resident Doctors, 5 Nurses, 2 Technicians and 2 Clinical Assistants available in the campus round the clock.Ambulance facility is available to transport the chronic cases to RIMS, Kadapa for immediate better treatment.
EXAMINATION RULES:-
Once the grading is done, then the SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average)/CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) will be calculated based on the credits of the subjects and the grade obtained. Remedial Examination Student who gets R grade in a subject will be given one more chance to clear that subject. The grade secured in remedial examination will be awarded followed by an asterisk symbol (*) in the superscript. However the grade of such students will be lowered down by one grade i.e. if a student gets a 'B' grade it will be reduced to a 'C' grade.
Placements and Internship:-
Career Development and Placement Cell (CDPC) is entrusted with the job of identifying Internship and Job Opportunities for the students and to train the students with necessary soft skills for ensuring success in interviews.there is a good placements in the collage see the below table
